"Mastering Change"

Change....

I loved this quote and felt like I could use some inspiring words.

I can't believe June is swiftly passing by.  This month the kids played baseball 2x a week, piano and Maddi also takes violin once a week.  They have got to play with cousins, go to a little zoo, (Willard Park) in Logan, ride bikes, play in the hose, go to the ranch and get to be kids. It's pretty great...

Logan is still working two job.  Summer school at the high school in Evanston and working at Smith Pharmacy also.  He is still a FULL time student and is an AWESOME HUSBAND AND FATHER!  I can never truly express how much I love him and how he inspires me to be a better me.  I was feeling overwhelmed with responsibities and life last week and his words of encouragement and wisdom helped me.  It helped me have a new perspective on things, figure out what things are priorities in my life.  I felt a sense of relief and new I could and can accomplish the things I want to do and the Lord wants me to do to.

I feel so blessed to be were I am in my life today.

Change can be bitter but I choose to make it sweet!

Girls just want to have fun :)

Mime Maddi

I came home to find this new gal in the house.

She loves to dress up and put make-up on.

She loves make-up too!

Did I mention the girls love drama, dancing, singing and having fun performing....
and getting their
Pictures took....

The girls have something up their sleeves often...  I have to say they remind me of when I was younger.  Where oh where does the time go bye?

Fathers Day

One might ask themselves what a car, truck, and pictures have to do with Fathers Day?....

But this father the one above and below (same guy) has wanted these two things for quite some time.  The car he has wanted since he has gotten cancer.  If you could have seen him the first night he drove it home.  He seriously looked like a kid in a candy shop or on Christmas morning!

The truck he has just got restored after a couple of years on working on it.  It was his grandpa Ez's truck.  The truck's name Ez..

Dad and Mom taking Ez for his first ride.....
Who knew that three years ago could look so bleak and now look at him.  You go Dad!
Love you

This man is on his ride too.  It has 4 wheel as well just looks a bit different than the vehicles above.

He just is so cute!  I can't stand it....

So to two men in my life that mean soo much.  Just want to give a thanks for being such great men.  For being a wonderful Grandpa and Dads.  For loving me and making life so great.  It makes me happy to see them so happy and enjoying life. Thanks for all you do.

Summer Fun...

Playing in the water it is still very cold!

There is something about water that just makes you want to play.

Guns up, who is going to get wet first?

To dream...

To imagine...

To enjoy....

To celebrate....

To embrace...

A first

We picked up the target and headed out, it was the first time the kids have ever shot a gun.

Danny shooting the chipmunk (gun)

Olivia getting a lesson.

Maddi was the one who wanted to do it the least, but ended up liking it the most.

Logan got a gun for his birthday so we all took turns shooting it.  However I guess I didn't get a picture of it. darn it.

It was a fun day and it didn't take long to get the feel of things.  It's been a long time since Logan and I have done any target shooting.

Libby ended up with grandma working and playing one time of shooting was enough for her.

Maddi has a pretty good aim.  It was fun to see her getting better each time.

It seems like this was me yesterday!

And this is how Danny spent most of the time. (plugging his ears)  He didn't like the noise..

It was neat to be able to see the kids do something that they have never done before.  Maddi keeps asking when we can go do it again.  It was fun to see Logan teaching the kids and listening to the kids repeat back the safety rules. You got to love country life....
