Horse Lessons

At horse lessons sometimes
you have to wait your turn.
So while your waiting you can talk about all the summer fun.
This is Haydee and Olivia.

This is Danny riding George.  Yes, he is named after George Peart.

Olivia riding Otis.

Maddi riding Chick.

Danny riding Otis.

Thank goodness for helpers.  I'm not much for helping with the horses.  So Dana and Annie helped Olivia get on George.

This is Bridget our horse trainer and these are her horses.  Bridget has three kids ages 2 to 5.  So she is a busy momma. So thanks to her for sharing her time and talents.

Before you ride the horse you have to walk them around the arena.

And before you saddle them up you have to brush them.( some reason my pictures all got out of order)
the girls riding double.

Clay stayed with the Pearts for a few days and got to come to lessons.  He said it was his second time on a horse.  He did great!!

Maddi and Savannah

Maddi galloping for the first time.  She loved it..
Annie riding.
Lessons were great and best of all nobody got hurt.  They all thought it was great.  Danny galloped on George and thought it was a bit rough.  I couldn't stop laughing.  It was a good laugh, one you need everyday.  Bridget's 2 year old is potting training and that was a good laugh too.  She just pulled her pants down squatted and started to poop. Nothing like the good old outdoors, but usually you do this where no one is watching.  So I volunteered for poop duty instead of horse duty.  Many hands make light work;)  Thank goodness for friends and family.  To be able to fill in and help where you can't or don't want to, or don't know. It's awesome to be in the great outdoors...

JR. RODEO:)

The Jr. rodeo was on Wed, and this little girl was bound and determined she was going to ride a sheep.  Ever since the 4th of July at that rodeo she wanted to mutt en bust.  So I signed her up and Dad took her down to the chutes.  I videoed during her ride so I didn't get a picture of her riding maybe Dana did?  She rode it and didn't get hurt.  (Yeah)  If you haven't seen mutt en bust en they lay on the sheep and put there arms around there neck, let them out of the chute and the mutton takes of running.  Maddi's Dream came true she really got to ride a Mutton....

This is Maddi after her ride getting out of the arena..

Olivia and Danny got to barrel race with these fierce horses...

Danny riding his bucking horse, running the barrels!

The kids got to chase bunnies, and chickens.  Thank heavens they didn't catch any or we would have had to keep them. This is Libby getting ready to run.

Savannah did catch a chicken and Maddi held on to it while Savannah run the barrels.

This is the ribbon that came of the goats tail.  Libby and Danny got to do this event.  They did a great job and had fun.

Maddi, Savannah and her chicken, and Clay and his bunny that he caught. Not sure if he got to take it back to California or not?

This is Clays bunny that Emma is babysitting.  So cute and he can do a awesome Russian!!!

SOMEDAYS YOU GET DOUBLES::

Some days you get double Rainbows!!!

Some days you get double masses of laundry!!!

Some days you get double trouble with water running all over your floor!!!
(What a mess)

Some days it looks like the road is very very  long.

Some days it feels like everything I see is 2x more beautiful than the day before..

Some days I just want to fly.... Although this plane is spraying for mosquito's so that is Gross and toxic.

Some days I'm so grateful for bountiful baskets.... Double the blessings... it looks and tastes great, and only 15 dollars for all that...

Everyday I'm grateful for these double blessings Logan and the kids.
I'm thankful for all the doubles.  Although some days it seem to be a bit overwhelming with unexpected events, and some days with just the everyday stuff.  Sometimes you just have to take on the day grab it by the horns and make the best of it.
I have been exercising faithful for 2 months and I must say it is not always easy.  If any one knows me oh how I do like my rest.  Especially at six in the morning with our windows open.  The room is cold and it's so warm in the covers, Logan snoozing, and not to mention it's getting darker at 6. It's so hard to get out of bed...... but most days I'm so glad I did it.  It makes me feel good to see the sunrise to hear the roosters crow, to feel my heart beat and to know my body can be strong. And for that I thank God for the day.  What ever day it is whether it is full of : COMPLETE JOY, HARD KNOCKS OF LIFE, UNEXPECTED PLANS, HARD WORK, HAPPINESS, DISASTERS, THE THOUGHT OF THE IMPOSSIBLE, OR JUST THE UNKNOWN.  It's so great to be alive.....

Hill Aerospace Museum

Did you see the scary sharks?

They all had to take turns seating in this chair.

Danny checking out all the equipment.
Libby said that this chair is not comfortable.

Libby is flying in this picture.

We all had a lot of fun looking at all the planes, helicopters, and all the other things in the musem.

It amazes me that these machines can get up in the air, and that people can actually fit in them to fly them.  The space they have in some of the planes are tiny.

I love taking are kids to new places it's fun to see how excited they get.

Logan loves this muesum he dreams about flying.  Who knows maybe someday.  I'm grateful for the Air Force, for all those women and men, and their families who scrafice for us.  It's good for us to learn and discover, and best of all to be together.

I BET MY DAD CAN DO THIS BETTER THAN YOUR DAD!!!

My Dad can do this....

and we can do this like our Dad....

Our Dad Taught Us This.....

and our Mom Taught Us This...

and together our Parents Taught Us This....

To love the outdoors.
This is on top of Crawford Mtn.

The little town in the back ground is Randolph.  All the water you can see is the Bear river overflowing it's banks.

This is Logan.
He is on top of the world.

And these our are kids....
