We are all still bakers in training, I may be getting a little grey, but I am never to old to learn!

Thanks to our little chefs they help me feel young and give me the desire to keep training.

Danny's latest questions are about quilts.  His class is learning about them in school and he is fascinated by them.

Maddi made her first batch of bread sticks all by her self and designed them this way.

She is a good cook and loves the kitchen :)

The kids and Logan in the top picture, all wanted to be tickled.  Such funny kids/Dad, me personally I don't like it especially my feet.

Maddi is getting so tall it's hard to hold her.

and they think it's fun!  Oh how I love the simple things in life.  There's not much better than having a Zoo full of your own Monkeys ; )

Who let the Dog out?

Honestly I'm not sure what you would do with a dog this big?

Isn't that the great thing about being individual we all have great things about us!  Some times people might have a harder time finding all those great qualities about us, but they are there within.  If we just give people a chance and not judge them from their outer appearance.  Just like this dog if I were to judge I would think this dog is way too big, and not very lovable.  When really this dog could be just a huge sweet teddy bear, and my best friend.  So, a lesson to me: People, Animals and Things, might not be what they appear to be.  Be open minded to great possibilities...

Where do you find your inspiration for creation?

I can always tell when Logan is thinking of inspiration he does this with his tongue.  (Which by the way has passed down to our children:)

What gives you the drive to try something new?

What makes you have that inner creativity wanting to get out?

This my friend is the year to embrace myself in my thirties.  To really embrace the inevatible which is age. Forty approaches this year and I want to feel like I'm where I want to be in the "Big Picture"

I don't want to let FEAR one of Satans greatest tools hold me back from acheiving my dreams of inspiration, and creation.  So, here is getting the most out of everyday and doing things that I might be afraid of but overcoming them and living life today!

What a RIDE!

This is Logan and I rafting July 4, 2007!  Logan is always up for an adventure and he usually has to do a little persuading or sweet talking for me to gird up my loins and go for it.  I was looking at pictures and ran across these ones.  This is one of my favorite trips that just the two of us have been on :) We sent the kids to my sisters and took a week driving on back roads from Las Vegas Nevada to Pocatella Idaho.  We would just stop along our journey and stay where ever we felt like it.  It was a trip that we could be spontaneous and let are hair down!

We are in the front of the boat here.  We switched up a couple of times during the ride so everyone could try it from the front and the back.

Logan wrote a note to me in December of 2000, this is just a little part of it.

"You mean  the world to me and I want to make you forever Happy."

This is Logan hitting a jump, and as I am typing this crying, from laughing sooo hard.  He definitely has kept up his vow to me to keep me forever happy!!

I can't ever express how much I love this man he makes me blush, laugh to tears, says the funniest things ever, and holds me when I need a hug!  He knows me better than I know myself.  He means everything to me and I long for him when he is away....

one of the first CHALLENGES of the year...

If this isn't familiar to you, (it sure is to me) it is part of the climb for Angles Landing @ Zions National Park!

Now to clarify, I'm not climbing this Mountain again but I did conquer it once!!!  I didn't know I was afraid of heights till half way up and my friend kept saying we are almost there. (she lied a lot that day)  Just like this climb was a HUGE CHALLENGE so is EDUCATION.  Starting my second semester since going back to school.  Today it kinda feels like this climb mentioned above.  Although I'm finding strength in knowing I survived my last semester, and it was the first time ever in my whole life that I got a 4.0!! :)   I can do hard things and that time passes by and you can only do your best.  :)  Another challenge that has arose this year starting on January 1, I got called to be the Young Women President, I hope I can balance all the many hats I need to wear.  So let the Challenges begin because they started right at the beginning of the year.  So as my motto states:  FACE THE CHALLENGE!  Life is good.
